Nací en Gibraltar de padres gibraltareños. Mi familia goza de una larga y estrecha relación con este Peñón.

En el siglo quince, durante la Inquisición, mi familia huyó de España. Como tantas familias judías, la mía tuvo que aprender el duro arte de huir de casa, al saltar la oscura sombra del antisemitismo y volver, vez tras vez, a comenzar una vida nueva en horizontes lejanos. Tal fue la historia de mi familia hasta su eventual acogida por este pequeño y precioso Gibraltar hace ya casi dos siglos. Aquí es donde hemos vivido tantos años felices disfrutando de plena armonía y convivencia con nuestros co-ciudadanos.

Por mi alma fluyen influencias culturales anglosajonas que, a la vez, se nutren de un pozo de vivencias latinas bien arraigadas en tierras y mares del Mediterráneo: desde Gibraltar a Israel. Es evidente que mi judaísmo impacta sobre muchos rincones de mi vida y no cesa de tener influencia, con enorme trascendencia, en quién y cómo soy.

Todo alma tiene algo que decir y todos albergamos algunas historias que contar, amparando tantas memorias. Todas las letras que he escrito están dedicadas a alguien, a aquella persona que dejó alguna huella, por muy pequeña, tendida sobre mi alma. Cada pizca de huella ha dejado algo vibrante en mí y quedo eternamente agradecido por aquel contacto humano.

En la vida hay tantas cosas que me apasionan y esta página Web recoge algunas de ellas: la música, la poesía y la magia y pretendo por esta vía compartir esos intereses que hacen mi vida tan feliz y tan privilegiada.

I was born in Gibraltar of Gibraltarian parents. My family has had a long and extensive rapport with this Rock.

During the Spanish Inquisition in the fifteenth century, my family fled from Spain. Like so many other Jewish families, mine had to learn the harsh lessons of having to uproot everything, moving on and having to restart a precarious life elsewhere whilst awaiting the dark shadows of anti-semitism to spring again. Close to two centuries ago, my family arrived at the welcoming shores of this small but beautiful Rock where we have lived so many happy years in harmony and mutual respect with our fellow citizens.

Anglo-Saxon cultural values flow through me. These are amply nourished by a spring of Latin influences rooted in lands and waters of theMediterranean shores: from Gibraltar to Israel. It is evident that Judaism impacts upon many corners of my life, never ceasing to bear influence upon who and what I am about.

Every soul has something to say and we each harbour a collection of stories yearning to be shared. We also hold on to a wealth of memories. Every lyric and poem I have penned has been written with someone in particular in mind. Every heart-print has made a difference to my life and I am eternally grateful for the human contact this has brought to me.

There are so many interests of which I am passionate. This website covers some of these: music, poetry and magic. I hope to share with you these interests which make my life so happy and so privileged.
